I've always loved the idea of candles and relaxing in a nice hot bath with them, but i've never really thought to spend the money on the higher end brand candles rather than the tealight ones you can buy. However, today, I was at a garden centre with my mum and they have an amazing candle section and they sell a lot of the Yankee Candles which i love. I had a wonder over and went to look at what kind of price they were and the different scents they made.
As my first candle, i thought i would try a sample size one rather than buying a straight up big one as i might not like it and they were £8.99. I bought the little 'samplers' in Red Velvet cupcake and I have it burning right now as i write this post and contend with my shorthand. It smells, funnily enough, just like cake and i love it. For the price (£1.80) these things aren't bad at all. I may look into buying more of these candles are they are so lovely and inexpensive.
