'You're a working woman!', football hooligans and many plans for next week.

Since landing myself a job, I can't help but miss my old slouchy fridays. College must have been feeling particularly nice not to make me have to go to college at all on a friday and what once was my homework and pyjama day has now been replaced by a 9-5 job with excellent pay. I miss the lie ins, accompanied by a double bill of 'Jeremy Kyle', and waking up at dinner time. However, now I am a 'working woman', I feel the need to live up to my duties and sleep all day Saturday instead.

Today I went shopping, and sadly my new lazy day was replaced by angry shoppers in town who sounded like they'd just stepped off the set of 'Made in Chelsea' (MIC for short). 'Let's get a coffee darrrrrling'. I cannot be bothered with arrogant snobs turning their noses up as they work past boutique stores, and complaining that Prada did not have XS in their favourite 'Festive season dress'. Go back to your hole and come out after christmas. After a short shopping trip, I took the tram home and their must have been some sort of football match on as the tram was packed full of teenage hooligans shouting and singing at the top of their voices. I found it most entertaining until they started making racist comments and calling each other abusive names. It all started to kick off and i fled to safety as I found myself right in the middle of the whole business. Can't say it was much fun to be fair.

Next week looks bright. My lesson is cancelled on Monday afternoon, Wednesday, college is closed due to the strike and on Thursday I'm going out for an 18th birthday meal. Saturday, I'm getting pampered in aid of a birthday gift to the same friend and on Saturday night, I am going to the party of this same friend. How exciting!

I must go as my contact lenses seem to be burning my eyes. For non-contact lense wearers and those without common sense, this is not supposed to happen.

Cheerio!
