'The City' is no more.

After religiously watching all six seasons of 'The Hills', following Californian 'got-it-all' stars Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag, I was pretty sad to see it come to an end. Season 6 finished with everyone left wondering whether the whole series had been a joke and whether Kristin and Heidi really got along off set. Regardless, sweet old Whitney Port left 'The Hills' in season 4 and packed up her stuff to move to NYC for a big leap in her career. When I realised 'The City' had been created with Whitney Port as one of the main characters, I could not be any more excited. 

I watched the two seasons of 'The City' and really enjoyed all the episodes. It was just like 'The Hills', yet it seemed to attract more drama, and sadly, less viewers. I just finished watching the finale of Season 2, hoping to go back on Lovefilm and order season 3 when I realised something. There never was a third season!! I just researched it and my fears came true - MTV cancelled the show. I am devastated. I want to know what happens to Whitney and whether her and Roxy patched things up, AND whether Olivia Palmero is still lurking around in the offices of ELLE. 

I cannot believe they ended it on such a cliffhanger! I am seriously upset that they cancelled the show. What will I do now for my weekly fix of NYC reality television?

And don't say TOWIE or MIC.
