Greetings! It is that time of week again when I do my blog which is read by all of two people! (you know who you are :)) I'm trying to write a new post every week, but we'll see. First off this week, there has been an unexpected course of sunshine in September in England! In case you aren't aware, (but let's face it, who doesn't know England has freezing summers?!) at this time of year, the small bursts of summer sunshine have long fizzled out and it's time to dig out those knitted jumpers and start buying wellies and winter coats for the long duration ahead. However, this week, to everybody's surprise, It has been sunny! And by sunny, I mean that it has actually been over 24° and i have been sunbathing in the garden!! To nobody's surprise, the lower sixth students at college thought it was a perfect opportunity to come to college dressed in less than they usually do. Tsk,tsk. I am not sure how long this glorious weather will last, but i'm holding out for the weekend!
Also this week, one of my friend's recommended that I start watching this programme called 'awkward' as it is about a blogger. It.is.brilliant. It's so funny and pure genius! I would recommend it to anyone girl (or guy..) who wants a good laugh, and its sorta relevant as i'm blogging too except I don't really see myself as a social reject with a broken arm.
Florence Welch. How amazing is this lady? I've never really been into her sort of music style, but wow, she can sing! I've always known she was around and i really like her and her music, but since a teacher at college started to play her songs in lesson, i'm officially hooked. 'Howl' is one of my favourite songs from her album 'lungs'. You know, someone should pay me with the amount of positive advertising that is present in my blog today. Donations will be accepted!
Finally, for my last topic of this week's blog, i've decided to do a song of the week choice this week. This week, it's James Morissons' song 'I won't let you go'. It's pretty amazing and it's just a nice relaxing song to listen to. You can buy it on itunes right now for £0.99p. Not bad really, considering it's a stroke of genius in the song writing department, but hey, what do I know about music?
I'm just a blogger.
